Blogs and slideshare can be used in many different ways in the classroom. You can have students create their own for special projects individually or in groups. You can also have students browse the internet to research blogs and slideshare. You can create a class blog about various topics. Students can create a slideshare to show parents what they are learning. You can create a slideshare for newsletters or to even teach content. The options are endless. Learning how to use both of these tools will benefit you greatly in the classroom.

Slide Share

Slide share is also a wonder tool to learn to use. It has many uses in the classroom. Below you will find steps to creating a slide share.

1. go to slideshare.net
2. click on sign up and follow the steps
3. click on upload
4. click on browse and select the file you want to upload
5. fill in all the fields below (title, description, tags, etc.)
6. click publish
7. then you can click on the blogger icon to have the link directly posted to your blog sidebar or...

HOW TO EMBED SLIDESHARE

8. you can embed the slideshare onto your blog by clicking the options under the "embed in your blog" link (to the right of the share/favorite links)
9. click on the 2nd link and copy
10. go to your blog
11. click on new post
12. paste link
13. click publish post
14. view to check
